EZ Vent is pleased to announce its next generation series of controllers.
Now incorporated into each motor controller, both single and three phase, across the line starter or vfd, is a manually resettable overtemp lockout circuit with push button restart. This circuitry locks out the motor in the event of thermal overload and requires that a person restart the motor. This prevents the xp motor from automatically restarting over and over again until the occurrence of a catastrophic failure such as the complete loss of a bearing resulting in scuffing of the armature or perhaps causing a hazardous condition due to major motor overheating in an explosive environment.
Requiring a personal restart of the xp motor encourages personnel to investigate the reason for the reset requirement and thus provides another level of safety in the use of XP motors in the Class One Division One environment of an odor control unit.

We offer three different control panels, all with a cycle timer. Whether you need a basic cycle controller with a Hand-Off-Automatic (HOA) switch or a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) panel, we offer both. The cycle timer provides an adjustable on/off time control that allows the operator to set the unit for the least amount of run time required to obtain the maximum energy savings.
Our recommended control panel designs include an appropriately sized motor starter or VFD, run lights, motor overload protection, an internal circuit breaker, Main Disconnect switch, and hatch relay circuit. Suitable per Lockout/Tagout regulations.
